July 2022

Dear FBA Family,

Welcome to the 2022-2023 academic school year! I would like to personally thank you for choosing Kingdom Education for your child/children. What a roller coaster of a year 2021-2022 was and while things may seem uncertain with all that is going on around you, it is important to remember that none of this is a surprise to God and He is still the author and finisher of your faith.  While the news on every corner seems to be one of fear, anger or sadness, God commands you to “…be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9, ESV).  He will never leave you or forsake you through whatever you are going through in this life.

I am reminded of a cupbearer to a king, named Nehemiah that no matter what he was going through or what challenges that he faced, he always went to the Lord in prayer first. Sadly, prayer seems to be the last thing that people in the world go to first and instead they try to handle or fix the situation on their own. Whenever you try to take a situation into our own hands and fix it, you usually wind up making it worse, which typically leads to more frustration, which then leads to complaining. And while a lot of these very things were taking place with Nehemiah and things in his life seemed uncertain, he never lost faith or hope in God. Instead, he prayed, knowing that the “LORD God of Heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps His covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments,” (Nehemiah 1:5, ESV), would fulfill his promises according to His will. I want to encourage you that no matter what is going on in your life in the world around you, to give it over to God in prayer, stay the course in what He is asking of you to do and remain hopeful that God is going to be with you through it all.

As this year begins, I look forward to partnering with you in your child’s education not only for time but for eternity as we follow the lead of our Lord and Savior. May the Lord bless each one of you as we embark on this journey together.  Please be sure to read the summer letters very carefully as they will have important dates, times and agendas that will be needed in order to make the start to the academic school year a success. Our first day of schoolFBA Night, will be on Monday, August 15th. To ensure the success of this day, each student will receive a passport in their classroom to guide you through the stations that you should visit.  On your last stop, you will submit the passport to the Parent Auxiliary, where you will be entered into a drawing for $50.00 towards your account. I also want to thank you for taking our Safety Survey.  Please know that we will share details with you concerning this once more decisions are made.
