High School

Parents, administration, and teachers work together daily to help students put knowledge into practice through a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

All students in the high school have declared that Jesus Christ is their personal Lord and Savior. First Baptist Academy seeks to educate young Christians in the knowledge of God’s Word and its application to their daily lives. Strength of character, perseverance of will and a servant’s spirit are encouraged as goals for our high school students.

Students are challenged to discover their talents, interests, and spiritual gifts and how they may use them for God’s glory. They are encouraged to develop Christ-like character traits and experience the joy of giving to others and spreading the Gospel. Each student is encouraged to grow toward Christian maturity and wholeness in spirit, soul, mind, and body.

First Baptist Academy offers preparatory courses for college. Dual Credit classes are offered through LeTourneau University. Our high school prepares students for college as well as for Christian ministry.

A full sports program is offered. Students participate in spirit squad, soccer, girls volleyball, cross country, girls and boys basketball and track and field events.

Academic competitions as well as fine art festivals are part of our support programs. First Baptist Academy also maintains a charter with the National Honor Society. Students are given an opportunity to participate in mission projects with emphasis on those who are lost and less fortunate.

The Academy will strive to prepare, not protect our high school students to meet the challenges of today’s world. Our aim is to help our students be of good courage as they boldly meet the challenges of the future.
