High School

Parents, administration, and teachers work together daily to help students put knowledge into practice through a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Motto: “Students committed to the success of other students”

First Baptist Academy’s high school program is structured to prepare students for success academically
and to help them mature spiritually as they prepare for college or their ministry/trade. We employ a
“college preparatory” strategy in classes and heightened levels of study while offering dual-credit
courses to fulfill some core college requirements.

FBA partners with LeTourneau University to offer traditional classroom and on-line preparatory dual-
credit college courses to our high school students. We are committed to preparing students for college
and potential Christian ministry.High School class leadership is structured differently in our academy.
Although students are structured by grade for academic purposes, they are assigned to one of four
“Houses” for social and mentoring purposes. Students are inducted into their “House” at the beginning
of their first year in high school and remain in the same house until they graduate. This leadership
model promotes mentorship and care for all students based on their relationship in the house rather
than on a specific grade level.

Students have the opportunity to participate in spirit cheer team, fall soccer, girls volleyball, cross
country, girls and boys basketball, track and field, and golf.

The academy maintains a charter with the National Honor Society. Students will have an opportunity to
participate in foreign mission and fine arts expeditions and spiritual emphasis projects that focuses on
those who are lost and less fortunate.

We are committed to preparing our high school students to meet the challenges of today’s world. Our
aim is to help our students be of good courage as they boldly meet the challenges of the future.
